R.O.A.R. – “Resolving Our Anger Responsibly” is a 20-session anger management curriculum designed for people who may or may not be involved with, or even know the victim of their anger (i.e. road rage, workplace violence, etc.). This curriculum is designed to address the significant influence of unmanaged anger, with the reality that there may be interpersonal relationship dynamics which need to be addressed to prevent ongoing future violence and criminality.
The Facilitator Guide provides step-by-step guidance to run classes with attendees using the Participant Handbook. Instructions are provided for the 90-minute session with optional 30-minute addition for programs requiring longer sessions.

R.O.A.R. (Resolving Our Anger Responsibly), is a 20-session, facilitator-led, curriculum. It incorporates evidence-based clinical interventions, adult learning principles and criminogenic factors. Since many persons who have difficulty controlling their anger with strangers may also struggle in their personal relationships, the curriculum also address’ relationship communication and related issues surrounding unmanaged anger. Session topics include conflict resolution strategies, stress management, and emotional regulation techniques in addition to the usual anger management topics. The unique design is an interactive and psycho-educational format for promoting transformational behavior change.
The Facilitator Guide provides step-by-step instructions, suggested time-frames, and key strategies, so group leaders can confidently and competently lead participants through each lesson. The colorful and interactive Participant Handbook, is designed to be used in tandem with the facilitator-led sessions.
