Fidelity Training

Our Entry Level One workshop in the Strategies for Success Training Series  is designed for facilitators who are new to  Another Way…Choosing to Change curriculum (3rd Ed). During this interactive virtual training you will learn the core competencies needed to effectively facilitate both the men’s and women’s curriculum. 

This 16-hr class will be held via Zoom over two 7-hr days, with two hours of independent learning/skill practice in-between sessions. 

Key Topics of this training include:

• Curriculum component review.
• Group facilitation strategies to increase engagement and retention.
• Evaluating participant’s change 
• Basic adult learning & brain science.
• Effective use of the multi-modal design
• Creating an environment to promote long-term cessation of abuse
• Reducing resistance through effective program intervention approaches.
• And much more!

All trainings held 830am-430pm (PST)   Zoom link will be sent 2 days prior to class

The Experienced Level One workshop in the Strategies for Success Training Series  is designed for facilitators who have been implementing the Another Way…Choosing to Change curriculum (3rd Ed.) for at least one full cycle and have engaged in Facilitator Forums with Nada Yorke prior to 2023.

This 16-hr class is held via Zoom over two 7-hr days, with two hours of independent learning/skill practice in-between sessions.

Key Topics of this training include:

• All topics offered in the Entry Level PLUS- the inclusion of two NEW lesson evaluations (pending the 4th Edition-late 2024) with instruction on how to incorporate them into existing materials.

The 16-hour Advanced Facilitation Phase Two workshop in the Strategies for Success Training Series is available for those who have completed the Phase One training (Entry or Experienced Level) AND have completed a full curriculum cycle.

Upon completion of Phase Two you will be designated a Certified Provider of Another Way…Choosing to Change and eligible for future research opportunities and Master Facilitator training.

• Facilitating through the Readiness to Change model for increasing retention and engagement.
• Implementing program and facilitator evaluations
• Advanced adult learning & brain science.
• Application of attachment theory, emotional intelligence, and batterer typology research
• And much more!

Successful completion of this 20-hr Phase 3 Master Facilitator training in the Strategies for Success Training Series will qualify you to provide Phase One (Entry Level) training for your agency personnel and you will be eligible to apply for Master Trainer certification to become a training provider for Another Way…Choosing to Change curriculum.
